Designing Engaging Extension workshop

The SA Drought Hub is supporting researchers and extension staff to build capacity in extension and facilitation by offering a series of workshops to our member and partner organisations. Workshops will be delivered by expert trainer Jeanette Long from Ag Consulting Co.
This 2-day interactive and engaging workshop aims to ensure your events resonate with your audience and achieve the desired outcomes. Join Jeanette in unravelling the core elements – the Why, Who, What and How – of extension, leveraging tried-and-tested theories and models.
Over the two days, participants will delve into the essence of extension and explore a range of extension and engagement tools to help them master the methodology for designing engaging extension programs.
Who should attend?
The event is designed for researchers, advisors and others engaged in extension activities, who want to increase their skills and knowledge of current extension practices. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or just starting out, these sessions will equip you with the tools and techniques to excel.
The workshop is free for staff of SA Drought Hub member and partner organisations (check the list on the hub website).
