Grazing management during the non-growing season – Carrieton

March 20 @ 9:00 am - March 21 @ 5:00 pm

The Northern and Yorke Landscape Board (NYLB) is hosting free 2-day workshops on grazing management during the non-growing season.

The workshops are run by Dick Richardson, developer of the Grazing Naturally system, to help you maximise profitability while improving pastures.

Come along to learn about:

  • Working out stocking rates and feed demands
  • Matching stocking rates to carrying capacity
  • Practical steps for planning grazing
  • Drought planning.

The second day takes a practical approach, using participants’ own farm scenarios and will help to set the foundations for grazing decision-making.

Who should attend?

Anyone working with livestock, including farm hands, managers and owners.

Register now:

RSVP to Nick Modra, NYLB – 0458 353 309 or nick.modra@sa.gov.au
