This project aims to offer a regional internship in applied RD&E, to provide training that is relevant to the needs of the southern grains industry. The regional internship is a 12-month paid position with Mallee Sustainable Farming, ideally for candidates who demonstrate aptitude and interest for grains research and who have completed a Bachelor of Agricultural Science (or equivalent) within the past 5 years.
The regional internship program will be run in conjunction with MSF’s existing research and extension program, tailored to the interests of the Research Intern wherever possible.
The objectives of this internship are to encourage high quality students to pursue careers in applied grains research, to give current or recent graduates with a specific interest in applied grains research high quality training and hands-on experience across RD&E relevant to the grains industry, and build research capacity across regional areas to support the future of the southern grains industry,
This project is supported by the SA Grains Industry Trust.
