The Future Drought Fund’s Helping Regional Communities Prepare for Drought Initiative
The Future Drought Fund has invested in the Helping Regional Communities Prepare for Drought Initiative delivered in partnership with the Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal (FRRR) and the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation (ARLF).
The Initiative has 5 elements and builds on the work of the Networks to Build Drought Resilience and Drought Resilience Leaders programs.
The Future Drought Fund’s Regional Drought Resilience Planning
The Future Drought Fund is working with State and Territory Governments to support regions to develop drought resilience plans. In SA plans currently under development include Murraylands & Riverland, Mid North & Yorke, and the Far North & Outback.
All plans are accessible on the national website once they have been completed.
ifarmwell – growing farmers' wellbeing
ifarmwell is a free online tool kit to help farmers cope effectively with life’s challenges and get the most out of every day, regardless of the circumstances they face. The ifarmwell program is supported by the SA Drought Hub.
