Another year of impact
The South Australian Drought Resilience Adoption and Innovation Hub (SA Drought Hub) is pleased to share its Year 4 Achievements Summary (July 1 2024 – June 30 2025) alongside the 2024/25 SA Drought Hub Annual Report, highlighting the continued growth and impact of Hub investments to strengthen drought resilience, preparedness, and practice change across South Australia.
Across Year 4, the Hub focused on practical, on-ground delivery and strong collaborations to ensure drought resilience knowledge was accessible and actionable for producers and regional communities, particularly throughout a dry and challenging few seasons.
Through 126 learning activities, the Hub engaged 3,746 participants, supporting the uptake of locally relevant practices and improved decision-making across diverse farming systems. A key achievement was continuing to strengthen trusted networks between producers, advisers, researchers and industry.
The Hub also maintained a strong focus on continuous improvement and future planning. At the end of 2025, the Hub team came together to confirm shared priorities and strengthen alignment across activities through t0 2026/27, reinforcing the Hub’s commitment to delivering regionally tailored extension and adoption activities that build drought preparedness.
